Serena: Nobody’s right, when everybody’s wrong And by everybody, of course he doesn’t mean Serena. This is nothing but one giant apology piece talking about how Serena was robbed. Stop fawning all over her, media. She got her ass kicked fair and square. Her circus behavior got her a bunch of penalties. It’s not the first time. It’s not the umpires fault she acted like a roided up toddler. And going on some long winded tale of BS about how women, particularly women of color are held to some other standard... fuck off with that. Her time is over. She got her ass beat by someone technically young enough to be her daughter. She should bow out of the sport gracefully and retire. Is she likely to do that? Nah. I expect many more articles like this over the next couple of years telling me how when she loses it’s everbody else’s fault. It’s been the pattern for years so why would they change it now. Technically my ass. There's over 20 years of difference between them. Most 'athletes' Serena's age are retired. Tennis, for whatever reason, tends to keep it's old fogeys around like golf.

Here's a quote from Michael Harriot: "I honestly believe that, in Knight’s mind’s eye, that is actually how he sees Serena is as a hulking, brutish simian rampaging in front of the world."
You said it, Mike. I just reported in the same manner you do.

Especially when her opponent is half black . So she can't use the race card there. Even though her behaviour is poor, she is still one of the best players (she's made it to the final of Wimbledon and U.S Open consecutively), she needs to learn discipline , and analysts have said she has a habit of underestimating her opponent. She sometimes doesn't even know her opponents are ranked in the top 10, because she lives in a bubble. I think she will win more grand slams, and break the record for most grand slams, but she needs to think does she want to be remembered as the best player ever, or a self-entitled, egomaniac.

Some surprises in the NFL this week. The Bucs beat the Eagles, and the Bucs are now 2-0, after beating 2 super bowl contenders to start the season. For the 2nd week in a row, the Browns were highly competitive against a strong team, losing to the Saints by only 3 points.
The Bengals are 2-0, and I must admit I didn't think much of their win against the Cowboys, but after I saw the Cowboys handle the Giants with ease, I know the Cowboys are a decent team .The fact the Bengals beat the Ravens after the Ravens won by over 40 points in their last game, and counting the fact Flacco knows a highly regarded young quaterback is waiting to take over if Flacco fails this season, that means it's another good win for the Bengals.
While not really an upset, the Jags beat the Pats, and Brady was screaming at his players like usual. The Chiefs beat the Steelers, and highly regarded young quarterback Mahomes broke the single game passing record for Chiefs quarterbacks, and had another big performance for the 2nd week in a row.
Good to see my favorite team, the Dolphins at 2-0.

Good decision. Making it a ME ME ME moment in the middle of a team sport. Yeah that’s lame.

Quite disrespectful to your team mates, fans and organisation who invested time in you. He signed a 5 million dollar contact, with 3 million dollars guaranteed, i don't know how much he will actually get after quitting so early in the season, he couldn't tough it out for another 14 more games? The poor bastard, had it so hard. He can go back to working a 9-5 job, for 30 years for 30 000 dollars per year.

If he got 3 million guaranteed I doubt he'll have to work again unless he just sucks with money. Plus I bet the Root would hire him. They're calling him a hero for abandoning his team.

So when you see a headline that says that a woman set a world record on a BICYCLE at 183 mph it sounds pretty impressive. Then you see this

Australian Open Chief warns against booing Serena Williams. Is the chief saying spectators will be ejected if they boo her? If so, why isn't booing a player an issue at other tennis matches? It's like the rules have been modified to suit Serena. All professional tennis players deal with booing from time to time, the ones who get booed the most are the ones who deserve it, such as Serena, and even Australian players who got booed from their own fans for behaving badly. So there's a new rule in tennis, Serena isn't allowed to be booed. And her husband claims the cartoon that makes fun of her throwing a tantrum is 'racist'. Why? Because it criticizes a black woman? Serena's Japanese opponent in the U.S Final was half black, and a woman, so why would an umpire pick on Serena for being black or a woman? It's because she broke the rules, the issue of coaching midmatch was already a contentious issue before the final. Scottish player Andy Murray spoke out about how he saw his opponent receiving coaching in the dressing room during a toilet break, but his opponent claims him and his player were just talking about something else, but yet they went into the dressing room together? Roger Federer was unhappy about an umpire giving an Australian player on court coaching during the U.S open, so it should have been clear to Serena's coach that him giving her coaching during the match was always going to create problems. www.msn.com/en-au/news/other/australian-open-chief%E2%80%99s-serena-boo-warning/ar-BBO8b7f

Congrats to drew brees for becoming the nfls all time passing yards leader. It's a shame hes often been on teams without a good defence, otherwise he could have more than just the 1 Superbowl ring.

Half way through the NFL season, the Rams are the only undefeated team left. The other teams that look very good are the Chiefs, Saints and Pats. There's other teams that have great quarterbacks, but lots of question marks about the rest of their team, such as the Packers and Steelers , and I guess we could throw the Vikings into the mix since Cousins puts up huge numbers every year.
People can say what they want about who is the best quarterback of all time, or in the NFL right now, but having a good team around a quarterback makes them much better too. Can't help to imagine what if Aaron Rodgers played on a team with a good defence, and if Tom Brady played on some of the Packers teams with horrible defences that Rodgers has to deal with.
The Rams are 8-0 because they're the most complete team. They have a good quarterback , good receivers, a good running back and a good defence. Their quarterback Goff is a good quarterback , and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins a super bowl ring this year, but he isn't the best quarterback , he has the best team.
The Redskins are a surprise so far at 5-2 , because many people saw Alex Smith as a downgrade to Cousins, and Adrian Peterson is a 33 year old running back ( but he's done well this year).
Last year, the Eagles and Patriots were the 2 most complete teams, and they both made the superbowl. Heck, the Eagles won the superbowl with a backup quarterback who is good enough to be a starter. This year, wouldn't be surprised to see a Rams Pats superbowl, since they're the 2 strongest all around teams, although the Chiefs and Saints may have something to say about that.

Week 9 in the NFL, the Saints beat the Rams. It was seen as a possible NFC championship matchup, and it was a high scoring affair , with the Saints jumping out to a 35-17 half time lead( yep, thats right) and edging out the Rams 45-35 in the end , after the Rams came back to tie the game.
This also means there's no undefeated teams left.
The Pats beat the Packers, and once again I feel sorry for Rodgers, such a great quarterback, but always let down by lousy defences.
The Chiefs continue to look like a powerhouse in the AFC, along with the Pats and Steelers( surprise, surprise),after a comfortable win over the Browns.
The Panthers looked good at 6-2 , but last night in a week 10 match against the Steelers lost by a big margain (31 points, thus allowing the Steelers to score 51 points).

The Rams beat the Chiefs 54-51. It could be a super bowl preview. 2 high powered offenses, although I think the Saints are a better all round team than both of them, since the Saints have one of the best rushing defences in the league and are the number 1 ranked offense.
The Pats were looking good until their loss to the Titans. The Steelers are on a 6 game winning streak.
Alex Smith is out for the season with 2 leg fractures, which means the Cowboys have a much better chance of making the playoffs now, since the best team in their divison (Redskins) have lost their QB for the season.
