Ys 1 Retrospective Review I want to play this game, since I want to learn more about Adol's story. I've played Ys Celceta(IV), Y's Ark(VI), and Ys 8. I hope to get around to Ys Origins, which is set before the time of Adol.

Reggie: N64 Classic Mini Is "Not In Our Planning Horizon", But Wouldn't Ever Rule It Out
According to Nintendo America president, Reggie, the NES classic and SNES classic were ''limited time opportunity consoles'', used to fill in the gap between the Wii U and Switch. He mentioned the Switch's retro game library.
However, Nintendo did trademark an N64 style controller, and perhaps the strong success of the NES and SNES classic consoles tempted Nintendo to bring us an N64 classic, but with the Switch doing so well, and having the ability to play classic Nintendo games, it might be easier for N and gamers alike to use the Switch's retro gaming abilities.

Trademarked an N64 style controller... why? That controller was terrible.

Some negative reviews about the PS Classic. The graphics are blurry and have poor image stretching, have frame rate issues and there's no scan filter options, which the NES and SNES classic have which make older games look better at 720p.
Also, playing Metal Gear Solid with no analog control reduces much of the fun. Fairly lazy by Sony, it's like they caught the SEGA disease, both of them tried to copy Nintendo's idea, but did it half assed.

The frame rate is bad because 9 of the games are pal versions running on ntsc hardware. So it's causing quite a bit if lag from my understanding.

Reports the PlayStation Classic Has 36 Hidden Games Sony Hasn’t Enabled
The PLAYSTATION CLASSIC reportedly has 36 hidden games that Sony hasn’t enabled on the mini-console, with the likes of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, Tomb Raider, and Crash Bandicoot each allegedly being stored on the system despite remaining unplayable. This information has been shared after many were disappointed with the PS CLASSIC‘s launch, with it featuring 20 games that many believe fail to reflect the platform’s history. Source code allegedly obtained from the PlayStation Classic has been shared online, with it containing a slew of game files that aren’t playable on the console. These include many highly requested games such as Silent Hill, Driver, and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, along with underrated classics like Klonoa and Parasite Eve. While the games aren’t playable, files for each of the 36 games are visible in the system’s source code. The full list of games can be viewed below: Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon Colin McRae Rally Crash Bandicoot Crash Bandicoot 2 Toy Story 2 Driver Ehrgeiz Fighting Force Gran Turismo GTA 2 Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone Kagero Klonoa Kula World Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver Medal of Honor MediEvil Mega Man Legends Mr. Driller G Paca Paca Passion PaRappa the Rapper Parasite Eve RayStorm Ridge Racer Silent Hill Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol Street Fighter Alpha 3 Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha Suikoden Tomb Raider Tomb Raider 2 Tomba Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 Vagrant Story Wild Arms 2 Xevious 3D/G+ www.gamerevolution.com/news/465753-report-playstation-classic-has-36-hidden-games-sony-hasnt-enabled

Although that seems a bit weird. Does the Playstation Classic even have Internet capability?

Fairly lazy by Sony, it's like they caught the SEGA disease, both of them tried to copy Nintendo's idea, but did it half assed. I have to tell you -- I bought one of these things and it is as bad as they're saying. Within two days, I immediately sold it for half of what I paid for it. Not worth the $100. I love the original PlayStation and have only the fondest of memories playing my brother's console and all those great games, but this PSONE Classic is a huge disappointment. Like you mentioned---no options to scale and/or blur the resolution as many of these games have not aged well, and the selection of titles (aside from notable exceptions like Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid) are downright pitiful. Seriously, you CANNOT play Rainbow Six without analog sticks, and the lack of rumble support means the Psycho Mantis boss fight sequence is rendered utterly joyless. Also, no Wipeout, no Castlevania, no Gran Turismo, and especially no Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider further dulls this package. Extremely disappointing that Sony half-assed this just so they could have a quick cash-in on the retro-mini-console trend.
