Looks great but why does Axel look pudgy? Yes, Axel does look fat and old. Good to see Blaze kept her features

I placed an order for one of these today. Pretty steep at $190, but it is, by far, the best clone console on the market today when compared to cheaper, less accurate knockoffs like the Retron and Retrobit.

It's called the Analogue NT.It's a well built Super NES clone console you can order from the website----it costs $190 but it is the closest thing to accurately replicating SNES games on HD televisions.

I've tried all those other clone knock-offs like the Retro Bit, Retron, and Classiq II and they don't come close to accurately emulating the original SNES as the Analogue NT does. I am very impressed with how my old SNES games run on it. There's no lag whatsoever, and the sound and visual fidelity are spot on. It is easily worth the $190.

IMO, the SNES, SEGA MD and N64 were more fun to game on than the NES. I'm assuming the survey creators didn't know Xbox was a 6th gen console, because otherwise I'm sure most people would vote the Gamecube over the Atari.

Xbox makes the list but not the PS2. Wut?

Here's an interesting documentary as to why the Atari Jaguar failed. Despite it being promoted as a 64-bit console, it only was 64-bit for some games, but it ran other games like a 16-bit console. And that was another problem for it, despite it's power, it had a lot of dated and uninteresting games. It was released in 1993, to compete against the 16-bit consoles, but lacked enough good games to make it worth it's price.

With a kawak emulator, I can play arcade versions of Neo Geo and Capcom games. I prefer to play their arcade ROMs, because console versions of arcade games get tinkered with, and don't play exactly the same as the original arcade versions.
The Neo GEO( SNK ), brings me back that warm feeling I had as a child in the early 90's, although some of the SNK fighting games in this video are from the early 2000's.
I enjoyed the Fatal Fury/King of Fighters games a lot, the characters in those games have very different styles to one another, and the tag team feature made battles interesting. I could never get the hang of Samurai Shodown. Super sidekicks was a fun arcade style soccer game to play. I've also played a bit of Aero fighters as well.

Something I am going to order this year --- the Analogue Mega SG. I have the Analogue Super NT, which replicates the Super NES to near-perfection without compromises, so imagine my excitement when I heard about this. There are a lot of cheap clone consoles being sold in stores nowadays---Hyperkin, Retro bit, Classiq, etc; they get the job done but the emulation isn't perfect and input lag is always an issue when outsourcing old games to HD or UltraK displays. However, if you're willing to spend a little more money, you will have the absolute BEST Genesis clone console out there. I believe the company that makes these Analogue consoles are THE go-to guys for truly authentic retro gaming experiences on modern, widescreen TVs. These consoles use a Field Programmable Gate Array processor (FPGA) that is designed to behave exactly like the original 16-bit hardware, meaning you'll get the best emulation possible, as opposed to other, cheaper clone consoles like the Hyperkin and Retro Bit, which uses cheaper, less-effective 16BITONACHIP tech that almost never perfectly translates the source material exactly. You can also use a Sega CD with this as well, and there will be future compatibility with Master System and Game Gear carts. Perhaps 32X would be considered as well, but nothing's been decided on that yet. So excited to be able to properly play my Genesis games on an HD display.

I love the Genesis, and I want a proper Genesis classic, that is manufactured by Sega (not a Chinese company) with games that are emulated properly. The problems with various versions of Genesis rereleases are some of theme don't allow a save function (how can people beat Phantasy Star without a save feature), and they either have horrible controllers that require batteries (result of having a Chinese company make it), and poor emulation of games. I like how Nintendo took time and care with it's rereleases, and manufactured the consoles themselves and did a good job with emulation.
