Lots of people are asking for this game if an N64 classic is released. I remember people speaking about loving rogue squadron . I love Star Wars kotor because of its darker and mature feel.

Been playing through the fist Metroid. The Gameboy advance remake Zero Mission to be more specific. A bit easier hads a bit more story. My goal is to get through all the Metroid games before Metroid Prime 4 comes out. Right now I'm up to the fight of Kraid.

I played the first Metroid on NES so long ago, I don't remember much about it. My 2 favorite Metroid games are Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. I prefer the 2D Metroid games, but I still love the 3D Metroid games too, and I'm super excited about Metroid Prime 4.

A retooled Castlevania Symphony of the Night is coming to PS4. It's based on the PSP version, hence, it will replace certain dialogues with new dialogue and voice acting. Some people found the original dialogues and voice acting to be over the top, but memorable and part of what makes the game a classic. I wish developers /publishers wouldn't tinker so much with little things that might be imperfect, but at the same time, gives a game much soul.
This exchange between Richter and Dracula will be removed.
Richter: Die, monster! You don't belong in this world!
Dracula: It was not by my hand that I'm once again given flesh. I was called here by humans who wish to pay me tribute.
Richter: "Tribute"?! You steal men's souls, and make them your slaves!
Dracula: Perhaps the same could be said of all religions.
Richter: Your words are as empty as your soul! Mankind ill needs a savior such as you!
Dracula: What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk! Have at you!
The PSP version, and the upcoming PS4 port, use new voice actors and a new script, with Richter and Dracula's iconic lines rewritten to the following.
Richter: Dracula. Die now, and leave this world! You'll never belong here!
Dracula: Oh but this world invited me. Your own kind called me forth with praise and tribute.
Richter: Tribute? You're a thief. You steal men's souls, their freedom...
Dracula: Freedom is always sacrificed to faith, good hunter. Or are you truly here by choice?
Richter: All I'm here for is you. To hell with your heresy! You're nothing but a blight on mankind.
Dracula: Ha! Mankind. A cesspit of hatred and lies. Fight for them, then, and die for their sins

Just want to mention that this year is the 25th anniversary of the North American release for Lunar: The Silver Star for the Sega CD(although the original Japanese version was released in '92). I was just playing this game for the past couple days. It has some grindiness, but there's a colorful cast of characters, the character designs are wonderful and I can't help but find a certain charm to the 16-bit anime FMVs of this game, even if they're not up to the same level of visual quality as Castlevania: Rondo of Blood on the TurboGrafx CD. There's also plenty of humorous dialogue in the game. I've played the remake for Silver Star on PSP, and I loved it, it was very charming. It would have been a real gem when it was released in the early 90's on the SEGA CD. The PSP remake of Silver Star is much easier than the other versions Might be a couple months late replying to this(Having a lot of sites I visit makes it hard to keep track all of them), but Silver Star Harmony was the first version of Silver Star I played, and in all honesty, I do agree with you. It has an interesting story and likeable characters, with a fun battle system to boot, albeit with some weird localization choices in NPC dialogue, and mechanical-sounding SFX for dealing and taking damage(the effect for being on the receiving end is particularly glaring, to be totally honest) on the original Sega CD release.

Rumors are, the reason for the delay of the N64 classic is to release it in December to go against the Playstation classic. If it's true, it's an interesting strategy, because if they were to release it now, it would be guaranteed to sell well, but after the PS Classic is released, it will be competing against a system that has Final Fantasy 7 and other great games.
Does this mean Nintendo is trying to bury the PSone, or are they afraid the release of the PSone a couple of months after the N64 Classic would take away some of the spotlight of the N64?

PlayStation Classic Games List
Battle Arena Toshinden
Cool Boarders 2
Destruction Derby
Final Fantasy VII
Grand Theft Auto
Intelligent Qube
Jumping Flash
Metal Gear Solid
Mr Driller
Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
Rayman
Resident Evil Director’s Cut
Revelations: Persona
Ridge Racer Type 4
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
Syphon Filter
Tekken 3
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
Twisted Metal
Wild Arms
I wonder how the licensing negotiating works when Nintendo and Sony bring across classic games from Square Enix and Capcom. The SNES classic has no Chrono Trigger or FF4, and the PSone classic has no Final Fantasy VIII or 9, no Chrono Cross or Breath of Fire. Also, Sony owns the rights to Legend of Dragoon , but they omitted it . I also wonder why the PSone has Super Puzzle Fighter, but no Street Fighter Alpha games or Super Street Fighter? At least the SNES classic has a proper Street Fighter game.

I can buy any other classic games I want from the Playstation store. I'm not really sure who this is for.

That's a point I've brought up before, Sony gamers tend to be more practical, thus they like to buy classic games or remasters on current consoles. Nintendo fans are the ones whom are more into collectibles, hence we see things such as the Zelda Hyrule Historia encyclopedia, Zelda board games, and lots of Zelda(Link) figures etc

Over 10 Million SNES Classic And NES Classic Units SoldDuring Nintendo's financial results briefing, president Shuntaro Furukawa stated both Classic consoles' success suggested there might be "even greater demand during the holiday season." Furukawa did not discuss either unit's future during the briefing, and did not remark whether this success might justify the creation of additional Classic consoles--for Nintendo 64 or GameCube. www.gamespot.com/articles/over-10-million-snes-classic-and-nes-classic-units/1100-6462919/
