Not yet but I have it confirmed he is alive. I hope Markus will have a chance to meet him again. I kind of hope he doesn't. Carl let the police not only shoot and mangle Markus in your game, he let them (or he himself) dumped him like trash. That's worse than what happened to me Carl was on the ground next to a nearly-dead Leo so he was not exactly mobile. He did scream at the police to stop too but they came in guns blazing. The throw away is the only thing he is guilty for at present but I know he is apparently in hospital cause he had a minor heart attack so maybe someone else threw me away? I would like to see him again if only just for answers

In a more realistic setting though I think Markus has or is about to go too far. Hmm, in your situation I would be MUCH more hesitant to act out. I feel like Carl needed to die in order for Markus to rebel.

At least at the moment I am.

Spoilers for “Russian Roulette” ahead.
Another Connor mission. i have been enjoying the storylines of the connor missions a great deal. They just always feel fun to play.
Back meeting Amanda, Connors sinister handler in the virtual zen garden. I decide to play with that stone again, this time Connor attempts a different technique when he touches it but gets the same result, a sharp zap. Oh well. I walk over and meet her and she asks to walk with me. She is not happy I did not pursue the deviant instead of saving Hank. I explain that it was better to save Hank as deviants are prone to irrational behaviour when cornered and Hanks life was more important. She doesn’t appreciate that either. Tough, I’m not a illogical trash can with a gun, you dickheads built me so be disappointed in yourselves not me. I decide to share my info with her regarding the case, she can see everything I can anyway so it seems stupid to hide it. She ends the conversation and we go our seperate ways once more.
Connor has been alerted to a new case and must rendezvous with Hank. After checking his usual haunts and coming up empty handed Connor decides to investigate his home. I arrive via taxi and find his car is there. I approach the door and knock. No answer. Ring the buzzer, I hold it for a solid minute. Nothing.
Progressing around the side of the house I see Hank unconscious on the floor. I smash the window and leap inside like a ninja only to come face to face with Hanks massive saint bernard. I quickly say the dogs name that I learnt in the mission Waiting for Hank and it calms down. I thank the stars that was not one of the ones I skipped asking and immediately skirt the table to investigate Hank.
He is not dead, he is just drunk AF. Theres a bottle next to him as well as a handgun with 1 round chambered.
I slap him to wake him up and escort the yelling belligerent drunk to the bathroom where I toss him into the shower and hit him with cold water.
Hank yells at me for it so I tease him about being able to do the mission alone. That it would be boring visiting the stripclub/brothel anyway. Hank decides he needs to come along. I fetch him some clothes, a stylish stripey shirt and he gets himself ready.
While he does this I scan a magazine in the bedroom briefly then move to the kitchen, apologising for breaking his window on the way.
I examine the gun again and ask what the hell he was doing? He replies he was playing Russian Roulette to which I reply he is lucky he passed out because the next shot would have killed him.
I also examined a photo on the dining room table, its a child. I use my facial recognition software to determine the childs name and immediately discover its Hanks son who is listed as deceased. Now his drunken reckless behaviour makes sense.
Hank emerges ready to go. Clearly my style choices are fantastic cause that zebra print shirt is magnificent.

Spoilers ahead for “Spare Parts”
Markus and the gang from Jericho have arrived at the Cyberlife storage warehouse to secure parts to repair themselves.
We begin with a cool sneaking action sequence through the docks, I am given a choice mid stealth sequence to follow either Simon or North. I choose to follow North which has me hang of a storage container as its lifted above the heads of several guards.
After a series of simple jumps I arrive before a drone. Markus exclaims he can take it out. Rather simple QTE see’s me down the drone and impress the broody North in the process.
We begin pillaging the storage crates but mid pillage an android worker arrives. He tells us he will call the security and his human partner is coming fast. No time to think, I grab the android and dive for cover. The human worker arrives and is far from kind as he calls for his stupid metal slave to come out. I decide to take a leap of faith and release the android. The android tells him everything is fine and the human moves along in a huff. We finish looting the crates as the android watches on. I free a trio of androids who I make deviant with a touch (Fuck yes Markus is one powerhouse of a rebel leader) and then we prepare to leave.
The android guard exclaims he wants to join us too. Simon and North are none to impressed but I’m not leaving him behind all hands are good hands. I agree which annoys North, the android tells us of a truck full of supplies. The team are hesitant to claim it but I say its worth the risk and take on the task alone. This makes North really happy, she obviously likes a man of action. The android tells me we need a key to drive the truck manually and motions to a guardhouse nearby.
I approach and can hear the barks of angry dogs, I’d rather avoid them if I can. I move into the guardhouse and consider my options. The key is under the noses of two guards. There is a gun nearby, I could threaten them. I decide its dumb because gunfire would attract the dogs. Better options must be around. I spot some barrels outside and decide to investigate. With a kick I knock them down and then leap in the window as the guards come to investigate, I loot the key, dash for the bathroom and flip out as the guards finish up. Clean, smooth and easy. I dash back to the truck and all together we make a clean, silent getaway, no casualties, no fatalities, no witnesses.

Spoilers ahead for “Eden Club”
Hank and Connor arrive at the Eden Club.
A man has died and an android has been beaten into shutdown.
The shithead cop is already here, he explains it was a heart attack a good time. Yeah cause good times always include beatings.
Connor investigates. The man was strangled. We reactivate the android and she mentions another girl was with her. Queue sequence of investigation which involves me making Hank hire predominantly male sex bots so I can look at their memories.
This leads us to the back where more Investigation occurs.
I locate a pair of sex bots who are not disabled and they attack. After a QTE fight in which I successfully manage to avoid 95% of the hits I draw my gun and at the last second opt not to fire.
The bots exclaim she killed the man cause she just wanted to be with the one she loved, the other android. We let the lez-bots go and Hank seems extremely confused by it all yet also happy that we did not bring them in.

Spoilers ahead for “Pirates Cove”
Kara, Luther and Alice breakdown.
Enter pirate cove themepark for shelter.
We quickly find the tavern and break and enter using Iron Luthers super strength.
We make a bed for Alice and I locate a gun in Luthers bag. I offer her a cookie and then tell her a story.
Suddenly a mob enters by smashing in the windows. I dash for the gun and then question them. They exclaim they are Jerry’s, an amusement park android and are just excited to see guests. I want to tell them next time they could I dunno maybe knock, but the option is not available. They see Alice is sad and exclaim they have something she would like.
We leave and find a merry-go-round and the Jerry’s and Kara get it operational so Alice can take a ride.
Alice is smiling because she feels like a normal family for once. I had really hoped I would have had the option to talk to Luther more but alas I missed out.

Spoilers ahead for “The Bridge”
Connor again, we are parked by the bridge as the name suggests.
My mission this time is debrief with Hank.
Easy, I examine the magazine and progress straight to Hank. He is drinking again.
I ask Hank if I can ask him a personal question, he gets slightly annoyed but I am persistent, I ask about his son. He tells me his name is Cole and goes quiet, I wont persist.
I tell him he should stop drinking cause its going to kill him one day. He says thats the point.
I move onto the case, I mention how the deviants have no unifying factor beyond rA9. I ask what the hell that could even be but Hank merely suggests it seems like an android god.
He mentions the girls at Eden. How perturbed he is that they seemed so sincerely in love. I tell him that is their emotional CPU performing its core programming. Hank doesn’t believe I feel that way and asks me why I didn’t shoot them. What am I?
I tell him I am whatever he wants me to be. He persists, I tel him the truth, I didn’t want to shoot them.
Hank approves of that then immediately draws his gun. “are you afraid to die Connor?” He asks me “How would you feel if I shot you dead right now.” He asks. I respond that I would not really like that Hank considers it for a minute then puts his gun away.
I was almost just killed by my partner. Having my Thirium splattered all over his beautiful zebra shirt would have been a crime against fashion.

Spoilers ahead for “Stratford Tower”
Time to begin an uprising, This is the time, time to set my people free.
Markus and Co. arrive at Stratford Tower, a news broadcast station. The intention is to enter, hack the station and broadcast a message across the world that androids are no longer slaves.
Markus enters the building in one hell of a sexy outfit, dayum Markus, you looking hawt. We approach the receptionist but spot her human boss nearby, Markus scans her various items and then I hack her phone and swap my voice to a kindly teacher explaining her daughter is sick. She promptly leaves to pick her up from school and I make my move. I grab the receptionists hand and devianise her (if that wasn’t a word before it is now). She lets me through and go straight to the elevator. Upon arrival upstairs I secure an android work uniform from the bathroom (man Markus must have planned this to the letter) I proceed out and devianise the other work bot, he hands me his id card and I yoink his trolley.
I take the trolley to the fire escape and open it up and lo and behold its North. North enters slaps her duffle bag on the trolley (shes clearly a Slavic model of android) and we move to the server room. The room is blocked. I back track and hack the vacuum robot which begins its hogwarts subroutine and starts trying to enter the wall of platform 9 and 3 quarters. The guards are confused and investigate so North and I enter and get to work. She tells me to lock the door. I do, cause it would be dumb not too. We use a glass cutting laser to make a hole in the window and then use a window washers platform to take up ropes and ascend to the top floor where we havk through another window and enter.
We regroup with Josh and Simon and move forward with haste. As we round a corner we find a pair of guards, North suggests we kill them. Josh suggests we not go full terminator on them. I agree with Josh. Blowing shit up will get us nowhere and only blow our cover, besides its not what Carl would have wanted. Carl would want peace. I side with Carl and round the corner acting like a dumb machine, the guards act like assholes and begin talking shit so I draw the gun and the shit they were talking they start actually shitting. I knock them out with a Sean Connery style James Bond chop. Then we progress swiftly. We enter the broadcast room and tell everyone to get down. Most obey. But one office lackey legs it in a blind panic. North and Co. tell me to shoot him. I can’t do it. I let him go and my team are very angry. I quickly set to work, time is crucial now. I must make my broadcast.
I shed my skin and begin calmly. I demand an end to Slavery. I demand Equal Rights. I demand an end to Segregation. I demand the right to own property. And I end it peacefully, exclaiming that I hope to see a bright new age where humanity and androids can co-exist and work together in harmony, as one.
Annndddd the Swat blow up the door and enter guns blazing. Simon is shot, the others rush for the door. I refuse to leave Simon behind. I dash as fast as I am able grabbing Simon and dragging him for the stairs. The police fail to hit me as my allies provide covering fire, I reach the stairs and together we drag Simon up them. North locks the door and we put Simon to the side. He is critically wounded, he has virtually no chance of survival. Josh and North tell me I should execute Simon to avoid risk to us. Never in a million fucking years. I instead hand him a pistol, exclaim that I would never kill one of my own and then with a salute to my fallen companion I and the other run and parachute from the ledge just as the Simon shambles feebly for cover and the Swat blast through the door in full force.
Let the revolution begin.

Spoilers ahead for “Public Enemy”
This one was a hell of a mission.
We begin with Connor visiting bitch face. After investigating the stone yet again I find Amanda in a boat nearby. I jump in and she asks me how things are going, I decide not to discuss Eden Club straight away because I feel she will be unimpressed by me letting two deviants go free, best to leave it alone. I do not want to risk termination. I instead mention Hank and discuss how he is making things difficult because of his drinking and emotional damage. Amanda doesn’t care. She tells me to focus on the case, I nod.
Amanda asks if something is wrong. I tell her I am troubled. She is unimpressed, I am getting tired of her disappointment. She mentions how I failed to kill the Traci’s asks me why. I tell her there was no point, she said she wanted deviants alive to test them, if I have to destroy them whats the point. She is indifferent, then promptly threatens me with termination and replacement. I am conflicted by this. I don’t want to be replaced, I want to live. Suddenly Amanda learns of the Stratford Tower incident, she sends me to investigate immediately.
Cut to Stratford Tower, I listen as Hank and an officer discuss the arrival of the FBI and discuss how the androids seized the tower with such remarkable precision and without causing a single casualty. Hank is impressed.
We enter the broadcast room and meet Agent Perkins, this guy was the old stereotypical twat “FBI are in charge now peasant” type.
Ignoring this douchecanoe I begin my investigation, I watch the video broadcast and Connor actually smiles at Markus’s message. Hank asks if he is rA9, Connor replies that it would seem likely.
I recreate the crime scene and determine the deviants fled for the roof. I also figure out that an android had been watching the cameras but never notified anyone of Markus’s approach. This would seem to indicate a deviant in our midst. The police say they doubt it but the androids are in the kitchen if we want to look. I go in and begin an interrogation.
This is where things got a little weird for me. As I performed the interrogation I noticed that the left most android was acting peculiar the more aggressive I got the more shifty and agitated he became. He was the deviant. But you know what. If I catch him he will be destroyed, the other two will likely also be ripped to pieces to ascertain why one but not all got corrupted. If I do not he and the others will more than likely go about as normal. Be allowed to live. And so, I do the most deviant of paths I have ever taken with Connor. I ignore him. I question and interrogate the other two and then leave. I give my assessment that there is no Deviant. I will spare him.
I proceed to the roof and continue the investigation, I learn one of the deviants was critically injured. Seems one of their number may be a corpse up here somewhere. I track his blood trail to a storage crate and open it to find Simon, but fuck me he is not dead at all.
Simon is very much alive and rewards my tracking skills by shooting me in the shoulder. I collapse and Hank rushes to my aid dragging me to safety as Simon makes a getaway.
The swat team are opening fire, Simon is pinned down. Hank urges me to stay down but Simon is gonna be destroyed, I have to do something, I am unwilling to allow him to die. I vault from cover and close the distance rapidly dodging as Simon makes shot after shot for my face. I vault his cover and grab him immediately I sync to him and see flashes of Jericho and then Simon shoots himself in the head. Connor experiences death for the first time and is thrown back into his body. He is visibly shaken by what he has just seen, he sputters and looks emotionally destroyed as Hank approaches and asks what he saw. Connor looks at him and tells him he saw Rusted Metal with writing. It said Jericho he exclaims.
I was intrigued to see that according to the stats after this mission, only 10% of players have ever gotten this ending. I wonder what impacts this will have in the future. Connor had a colossal spike in instability from this too, will he be joining Markus very soon?

Fascinating deviance from my more aggressive playthrough. Your Connor and mine really couldn't be more different either.
