NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN Yep. Exactly why I don't care now. This bunch all sqwacking now were willing to sacrifice their morals and ethics and keep quiet some even taking money to keep quiet so they could keep doing that job or get promoted or land roles. The time to take a stand was when you were a victim. Now your just someone applying leverage.

Why no one trusts the media? Narrative building. I neither want nor need the media to build a narrative for me. I simply want the media to provide a complete factual accounting. Let me the person consuming the media come to my own conclusions about the facts being presented. Don't include slant or bias. Just provide as complete of a picture of the persons, places and things involved in an event as possible. But media outlets don't get ad revenues by just telling the truth.
You can't get clicks by saying Donald Trump fed fish with the Japanese prime minister. You have to say look what a douche bag the president is for pouring out the whole box of food to those poor unaware fish, despite him simply following the prime minister's lead in the unedited video footage.

The media has too many extremists. Even though my political views are center-left,I cannot stand the leftist news which makes arabs and blacks look like innocent victims, and tries to demonize wealthy people, and lectures them about not giving enough to charity. On the other side of things,Fox news criticized the Thai Junta, even though they're preventing a civil war in Thailand, and preach about how other countries should adopt Americanocentric viewpoints.

The only thing Lebanon has even remotely done for the world is her:

Even much of the 'Arab food' is really Turkish. Funny how when one Arab country is fighting against Israel, all the other Arab countries pretend to be their friend. But when they are not fighting Israel, they double-cross,lie and cheat their fellow arabs. I know for a fact Syrians and Lebanese usually hate each other, but when one of them is fighting against Israel, they act like best friends. Doesn't matter anyways,Israel always kicks their ass.
In 1967,a whole heap of Arab countries tried to gang up on Israel, and Israel still kicked their ass(in what's referred to as the 6 day war).

A Third Woman Accuses Jeremy Piven of Sexual Assault: 'I Was Fighting Back Tears' Yet another woman coming forward after more than a decade who thinks I'm supposed to just take her word for it that this happened. She claims to even know exactly what clothes she was wearing that day. Lady that right there makes me not believe you. I barely remember what I wore yesterday. Siting that she called a friend who can corroborate this event... no, she can corroborate that you called and told her this is what you said happened. That's called hearsay in court. Did she keep this semen stained sweater she says she was wearing 13 years ago like Monica did with her dress? You know for future blackmail... I mean evidence. Because her story, much like Piven's first accusers recollections sounds hinky as Hell. His second accuser didn't even bother to give details of what she's accusing, just that something happened. I don't know the guy personally, don't care a lick about him to be honest. But this trial by social media court BS needs to stop. I see people like Piven who's guilt or innocence can't be proved or disproved actually going after defamation suits, given that this kind of accusation apparently can cost you jobs in today's world. Because we apparently don't bother to wait for trials or convictions any more. A woman's uncorroborated word is enough now to end careers. I'm just waiting for the inevitable news pieces about hoax stories to start dropping in 3... 2...

Woman gets up to 4 years in fiance's river kayaking death here we have another example of a foreign national being shown leniency for some unknown reason in the wrongful death of her fiance. She says now that she's been convicted: "I loved Vince very much and miss him terribly," she said in a statement read by her lawyer, Richard Portale, after the hearing. "I don't believe I was treated fairly. This entire process was incredibly one-sided and unjust." Despite having previously said in interrogation: "I wanted him dead, and now he's gone and I'm fine with it." So she's directly responsible for the circumstances that led to his death and based on her own comments clearly had some malice and intent involved yet for some reason they couldn't prove second degree murder and had to go after a lesser charge of negligent homicide letting her off with only a 4 year sentence, most of which she's already served while awaiting trial. This reads an awful lot like younger immigrant woman gets in the good graces of this guy and then plots to kill off her older soon to be husband so she can get him out of the picture and walk away with his money and life insurance. But now she'll be out here among the rest of us by the end of next month thanks to this miscarriage of justice.

"I wanted him dead, and now he's gone and I'm fine with it," she said during the interrogation. There was 250 000 dollars of life insurance money. She removed a plug with the intention of making the kayak sink, hoping he would drown(premeditation is 1st degree murder). She's definitely a self-entitled,evil bitch and a murderer.

So the Hollywood Sex Harassment Scandal thing is continuing to go on, adding new people each day. Added to the list of creeps: the guy from Gossip Girl (never watched it, no idea who he is) and the guy who played the skeezy dude in Prison Break.
Also, comedian Louis CK has been accused by several women, and has actually come forward and admitted it's true. Apparently he's a member of the 'corners women in a room and masturbates in front of them' club. Not too familiar with the dude's comedy, but I wonder if his set has a 'So I was jerking off in front of a woman...' bit.
Consequences (but not actual legal ones) are coming down on these people, and hard. Louis CK's been dropped from a few awards shows and his new film (that he directed?) is being shelved.
Kevin Spacey though is getting it the hardest: he's been kicked off House of Cards and, more bafflingly, he's being removed and replaced from a film that has already been shot and finished. Which seems a bit ridiculous - like, if he's a sex offender shouldn't he receive some sort of actual judicial punishment? Does this mean Edgar Wright's going to digitally remove him from Baby Driver?
In more news, George Takei has being accused of something that happened in 1981. And now I'm wondering if that means they're going to digitally remove him from old episodes of Star Trek.

The reason why you're not seeing legal action is despite some of these people admitting guilt 99% of these cases have no proof and the statute of limitations has long passed. The same reason there wasn't a civil suit, it's all he said she said.
