... if it's what I'm picturing it is this may be the first thing Biden has done that I kinda like. Edit: Well that was fake news. There was nothing at all to that. The fact that CNN had an LGBTQ town hall is dumb enough as it is. Joe made some dumb comments. Chris Cuomo made a dumb comment. It was nothing but a woke circle jerk for the Democratic presidential hopefuls and CNN figures to assure everyone just how woke they are to the issues. The whole thing shouldn’t have happened to begin with.

You know, Trump does a lot of things that make me ashamed, as an American. To be fair, America has done a lot of things to make me ashamed too. But much of Trump's embarrassing actions are just that. Embarrassing. However, abandoning the Kurds, which we've already done twice before, is just crossing a line. I've known some of these people. I worked with a guy who was a refugee from Desert Storm when we abandoned them and Saddam gassed them. He was a good man. He worked hard and when Dubya had his war he volunteered and served in our army as a translator. When he came back from his tour he moved back to Iraq, to his country because he wanted to make it better for his people. I have no doubt he's still involved in that. The very idea that this man served us and his own people, not taking advantage like so many others might, and now we just abandon them... to the fucking Turks? I don't think Trump has done anything to make me hate him more.

I see you have a somewhat personal connection to this but I’ve seen you in the past say one of the first things you would do as president would be to stop all foreign aid dollars and bring all of our troops home.

Trump didn't stop any money to the Kurds, he abandoned them; despite knowing that Erdogan would attack them. Despite knowing that he was going to re-create Isis. Even without a personal connection I see this as tantamount to treason. He is knowingly aiding and abetting an enemy (Isis) by his actions of following the whims of foreign powers, one of whom is hostile. (Turkey/Russia) And his fix for this is sanctions? Despite the fact that Erdogan said he'd just send all the refugees he's holding to Europe?? So he's still doing Erdogan's bidding? Come on dude. On every level, this is indefensible.

Not defending anything here. I’m just not seeing any difference in this and literally any other situation we have put ourselves in the last 70 years from Eastern Europe to Southern Asia. At some point we inserted ourselves into someone else’s civil war under the proxy of fighting Russia or China or Communism or whatever and we never seem to be able to detach from it. It’s the same playbook we’ve been using since Korea in 1950 and I can’t say it’s ever been particularly effective at doing anything besides protecting corporate interests abroad and fueling the industrial war complex. This is just the Cold War in the 21st century.

Asked to Condemn Omar, Dem Congressman Calls Crenshaw Racist So he can't actually bring himself to call out a member of his own party who is an actual unashamed racist and religious zealot so he instead pivots to call Dan Crenshaw a racist because Crenshaw wants to reiterate that illegal aliens should not be allowed to vote in American elections. No idea why Crenshaw would ever get those ideas about illegal aliens voting. I mean it's not like the state of California hasn't already passed multiple laws now that make it far too easy for illegals to have access to voter registration. Technically they would still be committing voter fraud if they vote in a federal election, but why allow the institution of laws that muddy the waters and allow them any sort of access to the process? San Francisco even put into law giving illegals the right to vote in city elections. So it's understandable that some at the federal level would seek to reiterate that illegal aliens cannot and should not be allowed to vote. It has nothing to do with anyone being brown, Congressman Jackass from Illinois.

I just saw the best description of why Trump acts the way Trump does. It isn't mean-spirited or partisan... this guy just lays it all out logically. And I think he's right on the money.

Why is Trump's view of the world so different to everyone else's? His language, diplomatic skills and understanding of issues are so juvenile.

He grew up in a world where everything was provided for him and the only explanation was a very simplistic view of business.
And he applies that view to everything. The presidency doesn’t represent stewardship of the USA to him. It means America is his business and it’s supposed to profit him.
The easiest way to increase profit is cutting cost. Alliances and agreements, for instance, are costs. Allies should be paying for protection instead of entering into defence agreements.
Prosperity for the people is nothing but cost. Education, healthcare, social reform. It’s all cost for no profit.
He treats power the same way as he treats money. You’re supposed to garner more of it. That’s why he admires dictators and tyrants who have no limits placed on their power. That’s the goal. And he resents the people, the parties and the laws that limit his power.
His statecraft is no different. Right from the start he tried to trade individually with European nations because that’s a power exchange that favours him. He hates the EU because bloc trading does not favour him. He resolves trade disputes with punitive measures. Since the cost of trade sanctions is born by others, he sees it as a pure power move. Let’s see who starves first, China or America but it won’t be Trump.

Obama calls out call-out culture: "That's not activism" "Michelle Obama also weighed in on political division. She compared racism to xenophobia while recalling how white families left the South Side of Chicago, where she grew up, as black families moved in. " I want to remind white folks that y'all were running from us, and you're still running, because we're no different than the immigrant families that are moving in ... to try to do better," she said." I see she doesn't want to dig into the meat of WHY white families moved out of South Chicago. Must be because RACISM!!! It's not because white people are afraid of your skin color dumbass.

Yeah... you're different.... you're really different. I mean you both can't speak good english but if Raul comes in my back door he's there to put in a floor and not steal my PS4.... also... "Young people in particular, he (Obama) said , seem to think "'if I tweet or hashtag about how you didn't do something right, or used the wrong word or verb, then I can sit back and feel pretty good about myself, because man you see how woke I was. I called you out.' That's not activism. That's not bringing about change," he said at the summit, which took place in Chicago on Tuesday." Man, I could NOT agree more.

Supreme Court allows Sandy Hook families to sue Remington This is just a straight up wrong decision by the court. Can a victim sue Ford when another motorist causes an accident that results in death or injury to them? Of course not. So why is a gun any different? What possible blame can be made to the manufacturer in the Sandy Hook shooter taking a gun to shoot up the school? There is zero reasonable blame to be placed on Remington for making the gun. This sets all the wrong kind of precedent for court cases in general. What’s to stop someone from using this ruling to blame manufacturers of all sorts of things for damages they received due to someone else’s improper use of their products?

You and I agree on this point. Unless Remington has some sort of marketing program directed at young school shooters, I don't see this as having anything to do with them. You know it's gonna fail right? You realize they only allow this so it seems like they are doing SOMETHING about the problem.

I've been checking in on the impeachment hearings today. All I keep thinking of when I hear the "witness" testimony is this:
