Buckle in cause here we go:
(who didn't see this coming?) Hey, this is Starfire:
Ok, got it? Fairly familiar? Okay. Now this is also Starfire as she will appear in the new Titans tv show:
Mmmhmm, not a big surprise there. (They raceswapped the redheaded comic book hero) There's a precedent for this.
What is surprising is this:
"If you thought being a regular old black person in America was tough, try being a black superhero, or a black person from the future, or even worse, a black alien from a galaxy far, far away. You’d have to deal with Thanos, inter-dimensional threats, and you still have to battle the Chicago Police Department, #BarbecueBecky and white racists online.
In fact, lately it’s gotten so bad that bigots are attacking black folks for even taking roles as superheroes, even black ones. Anna Diop, who plays Starfire, a black woman, in the new Titans show on the new DC Universe streaming service, is catching racist hell for not being the right kind of black for the role."
It appears that the Root lives in a fantasy world where the character depicted above, in comics, animation, and video games, is black. As black as Anna Diop who dons the overly-curled magenta wig to play Starfire in the tv show.
Honestly that set pic makes her look like a prostitute. Koriander (Starfire) is orange but her facial features are clearly designed around a Caucasian woman, both in the comics and animation. I’ve seen people even saying this was their opportunity to cast a Latina for a superhero role. I would be behind that more than the current casting but again, even that seems wrong. There are plenty of black and Latina characters they could pull from if they want to have that in a live action show. Why do they feel the need to co-opt an existing character and so fundamentally alter the look and by extension the attitude and motivations of the character? It’s not just this but it’s one of the major reasons I just have no interest in watching this. Supergirl has already brow beat me enough with social justice messaging. They recently tread this very same issue The Root is vomiting up in an episode, using the Martian Manhunter and him choosing to live his life and experiences on earth as a black man, despite him being able to shape shift into a woman or a dragon or a tea cozy if he wanted or needed to blend in.

By now it should surprise NOBODY that Koreans are dirty thieves. (Hot women... but thieves.) Online in South Korea, fans noticed that two panels in Kim Song-mo’s latest manhwa, the webcomic A Record of a High School Life, looked familiar. Comparisons of the panels appeared to show the drawings seemed to mirror art from manga Slam Dunk, which ran from 1990 to 1996. (Of course, Slam Dunk’s manga artist Takehiko Inoue has also been called out for appearing to trace original NBA photos!) According to mainstream news sites Joins and Naver, Kim released a mealy-mouthed statement about the allegations, saying that when he was a huge fan of the Japanese basketball manga and when he studying comic book art, he traced around 30 Slam Dunk comics. After that, Kim added, he’s been told that his work looks like that in Inoue’s manga. Kim explained that he wanted people to understand that this was something his hand more than his brain had remembered. He apologized for creating this public brouhaha and said he is taking steps so this won’t happen again. I guess it won’t, because in a just-published article, Joins reports that Kim’s webcomic A Record of a High School Life is now going to end serialization.

Well I've stumbled upon Mexican Superman. Justice League: Gods and Monsters features Superman as Hernan; an illegal who gets called a wetback who takes American Jobs (just for being in a bar) and decides to laser eyes a guy. Of course the police act just like this.

Of course the police act just like this. Funnily enough the movie of this mostly glosses over his backstory and just establishes him as a guy trying to make a better example than his Kryptonian father, General Zod.

So this abomination is apparently a thing. It’s exactly what you’d expect it is too. It’s feminist SJW propaganda talking about the benefits of condoms, birth control, and abortion as they relate to female sexual empowerment. It’s got vagina imagery all over it and tons of lesbian sex. Not exactly sure how Planned Parenthood and lesbians fit together exactly. Whatever intersectionality I guess so... The reviews on it are pure leftist progressive gibberish about how needed this comic is in these “Trumpian” times and how Planned Parenthood needs all our support so pony up some money to help out, yo. LOL. These people are so desperate and pathetic. This is nothing but pure propaganda and fund raising for Planned Parenthood. Disgusting.

I am totally hooked on this series now. I can't wait for the show. I will be VERY disappointed if they tone it down cause this shit right here is DARK.

Not a bad bit of content. Loads of Marvel references for those paying attention too.

Pretty decent fan film. This is the one that's been embroiled in a money grab attempt from Disney recently.

I can see why Super Sonico wasn't as well received in the west as Hatsune Miku. Fans of Super Sonico it western countries would have to hide her stuff so they don't get attacked by feminists and SJWS.
