Poll: Number Of Americans Who Favor Stricter Gun Laws Continues To Grow Bullshit. Who honestly believes anything that comes from a poll anymore? The media can manipulate the data to make it seem like these things say whatever they want them to say. Average Joe middle American doesn’t trust the government nor the media and they certainly aren’t cool with being disarmed by either.

I agree about manipulation, if only due to the respondents to the poll (normally harvested from the site's visitors.) I do, however, think the number of people who favor this is growing, particularly the younger generation. The old tactic of just ignoring this until it goes away is fading. If someone doesn't come up with something to curb these mass shootings, I feel like stricter laws will be inevitable.

While I do believe enough of the millennial generation and the particularly targeted current crop of whatever they’re calling high school aged kids generation these days are gullible enough to buy into all this talk of confiscation and bans (add an extra dose especially if they live in an inner city), I also believe there are enough people who understand the intent of the second amendment and who recognize that the number of what is labeled “mass shootings” by politicians and the media is actually extremely low given the size of the population. We get a few more Beto types out there, if they actually succeed at getting traction on coming for our guns will find out pretty quick from southern and midwestern Americans that there are just as many if not more people who are really not interested in sacrificing freedom for an illusion of safety.

Just in case you think the media is only biased against the right... Bought and sold, just like the rest of this country's institutions.

Just in case you think the media is only biased against the right... Bought and sold, just like the rest of this country's institutions. Bernie has been done for a while. Doesn’t matter what he’s polling. The media quit caring about him a month ago. Their current favorite (and it certainly isn’t Biden) is Warren, and if Warren can’t have it then they’re loving Buttigieg for some reason despite that guy being an unknown nobody to most of America with all of about a farts chance in the wind of actually doing well in the general if he somehow managed to pull off the nomination. I’m still waiting for Hillary to spring back into the race any day now...

The DNC is chock full of self-defeating idiots but surely they realize that they won't get to hand-anoint the nominee again. Or maybe they don't. These fuckin' idiots...

Okay here's one that triggers me.
I keep seeing clickbait articles with the title "[Insert older male celebrity name] is still with his partner after all these years" or some variation. The picture they use is almost always chosen and deceptively cropped to indicate that said male celebrity is gay. Two seconds of research will show you that not only is said male celebrity not gay but they've been MARRIED to a woman for something like 30+ years. So it's not his "partner," it's his wife. Normal married hetero couples don't refer to their spouse as their partner. Partner (most especially in media) is a term that is used almost exclusively to refer to people who are unmarried living together and gay couples and the media damn well knows it.

New York writer who accused Trump of sexual assault sues him for defamation This from the woman who sounded like a crazy person while being interviewed, flirted with Anderson Cooper (who is openly gay), and said that people see rape as sexy. She waited 20 years to tell "her story" in the middle of the #METOO ridiculousness and right when she was releasing a book. Sorry not sorry that I don't believe her. As for her lawsuit, Trump calling her a liar and saying she's not his type and that he doesn't find her attractive doesn't exactly rise to the level of defamation. Go away lady. Your 15 minutes never happened and no one wants to buy your book. I #DONTBELIEVE anyone who won't go after someone when it would have been difficult and didn't serve to benefit them financially, politically or however. This is a non-story.
