I've played the first Jak game on Vita, but it was a horrible, broken port, but I saw it's potential. I played some of Jak 3 on PS2, but I couldn't get into it, and don't remember much about it. Odd never touched the Vita but had no problem with the PS3 version The Vita version was outsourced to another team who did a sloppy version of it. The plat trophy difficulty for the Vita version is rated around 6 out of 10 due to it's sloppy controls and choppy frame rate, compared to the PS3/4 versions which have a plat difficulty around 2 out of 10. I hope to play the game on a PS4 one day, I can see the potential in it's level designs and gameplay.

*SPOILERS*
Picked up Spiderman and have been playing it. While the combat is great and takes many ques from the Batman Arkham games it does make it it's own. The Tutorial sets up the story well but what I've known for pre release and two hours in I'm disappointed to report they are setting up Doctor Octopus to be the main baddy. Which is kinda disappointing. They are obviously setting up the sinister six which I'm fine with but I was hoping to have these villains established and working together to exact revenge not the story of how Doctor Octopus got his powers and assemble them to fight Spiderman.

Been thinking about picking it up. How it the web-swinging? Fun stuff? And what's the side-content like? Typical open-world stuff, or are there more interesting Spider-man-centric things?

Webslinging works great. The side quests are pretty generic but are some that stand out.

The game has a good way of keeping you engaged between story missions, random encounters, side quests, and collectibles. The web slinging is great for traversing the game space.
