Bite the hand that feeds you, or at least TRIES to feed you, don't expect to see the mailman sticking his hand out in the front yard to deliver your main again anytime soon.

But, the black Zimbabweans said the ''pinkies'' were the cause of the problems in Zimbabwe.

A pretty interesting break down on some of the spy disguises we see in TV and film and how they compare to what the real CIA uses in the field.

After Girl’s Dad Cuts Her Hair Off For Getting Birthday Highlights, Mom Steps In While the amount of attention and GoFundMe nonsense this got is ridiculous, I feel bad for the kid. This isn't exactly the way you want to find out that your dad and stepmom are psychos. For her 13th birthday a girl wanted to get her hair and makeup done. Her mom took her to the salon and got her highlights. When she next went to see her dad (the parents are divorced), dad and stepmom decided that at 13 she was too young for highlights so they chopped her hair off. Didn't work out so well for dad and stepmom in the end. Mom used this as a basis to successfully file for sole custody. Dad and stepmom ended up getting put on administrative leave from their jobs pending an investigation of their behavior. Plus dad probably did a pretty good job of torpedoing his relationship with his daughter over this one. Yeah hair grows back, but the emotional abuse is something that may never heal. Good job treating your kid like shit all because you didn't want your little princess to grow up.

Yeah, emotional abuse can lead to suicide or psychological problems that will affect her for the rest of the life. The father and stepmom have serious issues and aren't fit for raising a kid.

Dad was clearly uncomfortable with the idea of his 13 year old "sexualizing" into what is, essentially, a womanly ritual (make up etc) Fair. But it's done, she's happy, and it's really NOT that big of a deal. Now it is. Now your conniving ex-wife has used this as a way to wrest custody from you and you look like an ass on a world-stage level. You PICK your battles. You PICK ones you can WIN.

This bunk bed is $1,200 a month, privacy not included I know this is San Francisco so an extra double shot of weird and out there is expected, but damn. You’ve got to be all kinds of dumb to pay $1,200 a month to rent a slot on a bunk bed. Who wants to live in a house and share a bed with a bunch of strangers while paying a premium to do it?

How A Grocery Store's Plan To Shame Customers Into Using Reusable Bags Backfired"The underlying thing is that it creates conversation, and that's what we actually wanted to get across to the general public," he says. This is what someone says when they refuse to acknowledge that they were wrong. People like this never learn that shaming people just generally doesn’t work. In fact too many people have little shame and willingly embrace whatever behavior even more strongly when you try to publicly shame them for it. This is not the solution to get people to stop using plastic bags at grocery stores. You know what would eliminate plastic grocery bags practically overnight? Stop offering them as an option. Run a promotion for a few months before eliminating them from your store in which you give customers free reusable canvas bags for a purchase of $50 or something. Then when the date you’ve set arrives discontinue offering plastic bags. Sell the reusable bags at the counter for a small fee, $1 per bag or something like that. All it will take is a few of the big outlets (Walmart, Target, etc) doing this and plastic bags will go the way of the dodo in no time.

Shame doesn't really work on people. You'd need a deeply religious and fearful population to bring shame back. No amount of dead bird pics will work.

Fun fact: I've already played and recorded the next episode of Detroit, but after writing up that last one I'm to exhausted from the Social Justice Assault to write more today...

I Worked at an Amazon Fulfillment Center; They Treat Workers Like RobotsImagine that. A company that pays its people $15+ an hour plus benefits for no skill menial jobs expects its people to work productively while they’re on the clock. I’ve done my own research on this issue (I’m sure to the media's chagrin) and I can read between the lines what the bulk of these people are protesting are after. There are some presenting that they want an increase in safety procedures and adequate time for breaks, etc. Those are intelligent, reasonable and laudable goals. Then there are those who are clearly trying to just get paid more for less work. The Minnesota center in particular has a whole other paradigm at play. A large portion of that workforce is Somali refugees. They want the company to bend to their religion. They want dedicated prayer spaces, more breaks for prayer, work hours that align with their religious tenants, paid days off for their religious holidays, etc. You go to work to work. Practice whatever you want to practice on your own time.
