I love Resident Evil 2. It’s still one of my top two favorite games period. Tied with Uncharted 2 because I don’t want to have to choose. Final Fantasy Tactics is an awesome game. I played it years ago and couldn’t get into it at the time but I came back to it a few years ago and it was perfect for playing on the Vita. Something about it being handheld just felt really right and it is one of my favorite Final Fantasy games.

Man, you made me think of one of my favorite games of all times: Vandal Hearts I consider this to be far superior to FFT or really any other tactics game. I was SO into VH.

The 10 year anniversary for Lost Odyssey has recently passed,it was released in December 2007,in Japan. It was written and designed by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, and many people regard it as the true Final Fantasy 11,12 or 13. Remembered by many people for having an emotional story that actually made people cry,as well as having the trademarks of traditional Final Fantasy such as romance,a turn-based battle system, and world map, the game ended up being a cult classic. I had a "promotional copy" of Lost Odyssey in my collection- not very pretty, and this December I gave this to a friend and decided to get a copy of the original release for myself. When it arrived in my mail the whole box and cover was water soaked due to rainy weather and the poor packaging the guy from eBay did. So my Lost Odyssey copy is now in a much worse condition than it was before.

So my Lost Odyssey copy is now in a much worse condition than it was before. I know what that's like . I ordered a rare Link figure that represents Ocarina of Time, and the stupid seller put the figure in a postal box that was too small, and they purposely arced the figure's box to make it fit inside the postal box,so the box stayed permanently arced. Being a collectible that I paid nearly 200 USD for shows the seller lacked courtesy. I also ordered some games on ebay, and customs cut the boxes open looking for drugs. Luckily they were only cheap games.

Back in the early 2000s when I first played Resident Evil Code: Veronica X on the PS2 I thought I could never beat that game. After countless of tries and restarts I managed to beat Tyrant in the cargo plane and then eventually finish the game. Later in the 2010s I thought that getting A rank in the main game was something impossible, it was for the other players not for me. With a lot of guides reading and practice I managed to get that A rank! The last "impossible mission" was getting A rank with all characters in the Battle game, especially with Wesker who has only the knife as a weapon. Well, guess what? Nothing is impossible if you try a lot, even for a rather mediocre player like me. That's what I like in video games, they teach you how to become better. My Battle Game times are among the best ones in the Speedrun.com. Sorry for the bragging, but this little story sums up my story as a player, and my story as a player is pretty much half of my story as a person.

Before there was an achievement/trophy system,I only played games on easy difficulty(unless they were fighting games,or unless I needed to play it on medium to see a proper ending). After achievements were added to all games,I started testing myself even more, such as getting A rankings in missions, and beating games on hard, and finding every single item. When I got the platinum trophy for Uncharted(which includes beating the game on crushing),I thought I had already been pushed to the limit, but then I platinumed Final Fantasy XIII,which includes getting an 5 star ranking in every boss fight, then I platinumed Resident Evil 5 which involves doing speedruns

I can easily imagine the trophy that would likely kill any hopes of a platinum run for me: finishing the game and then going back for another run through. Which is already a thing since your reward for finishing is just starting you back at the beginning and telling you to go through it again.

5 years ago in February 2013,Fire Emblem Awakening was released. It,along with Persona 5 are my favorite 8th gen titles JRPGs. It combines turn-based(with dice roll to the extreme kinda like with Valkyria Chronicles),with a grid system, and has a good diversity of unit types, and the permadeath system makes battles intense. The story focuses on numerous things happening at once, and allows you to create romance,as well as make children, and have generations of characters. The characters have personality as well.

Since there's a likelihood we know who will be developing Metroid 4,I thought I'd do some flashbacks to memorable experiences I've had with the Metroid series. Super Metroid was a very memorable experience when I played it in the 90's. It's atmospheres are amazing, and remind me of the dark, dirty side to space we see in the Alien movies,as well as seeing the chilling lifeforms that also remind me of the Alien movies. The gameplay was quite something,a great mixture of run and shooter, platforming, puzzles and Samus has a wide range of different abilities. I enjoyed Metroid Fusion on GBA for the same reasons, and the new abilities such as the ice missiles made the gameplay more interesting, and I like the richer use of colors while still making the atmospheres feel very dangerous.I especially loved the lethal-looking atmosphere of the alien planets. Metroid Prime took the great things about the 2D metroid and made them into a FPS,hence Metroid Prime 1 and 2 are remembered as some of the best FPS ever. I found Metroid Other M disappointing, and haven't played another Metroid game since. Although Samus Returns for 3DS is getting good reviews.

I found out this very easy guide to play Tomb Raider on Windows 10 with the best possible textures and resolution and with PS1 music! I've tested it and it's great. Actually no more testing, I'm playing it once again.
