Apple: Yes, we're slowing down older iPhones No positive way to spin this one Apple. It’s one thing if they offered this as a consumer option but it’s another thing for them to just decide for all of us that it’s what we need and want, even if the lithium battery explanation is true.

I’m not about to trust the car entirely. This is like when the Mercury astronauts refused to get in a capsule with no window. No ability for me to take control if need be then I’m not getting into one of these.

The pros and cons of having sex with robots It’s like the author and the people contributing to this article are completely missing the point. They think that sex robots being objectifications of the female form will negatively impact real women. How? That it sends the wrong message about real women’s sexual availability if a sex robot always says yes. Why the fuck would I buy a sex robot if it could say no to me? It’s a toaster with legs, only the toaster is a vagina. My toaster doesn’t get to decide if it’s going to toast my bread or not, I do. The whole point of fucking a sex bot is to not deal with the BS that goes along with dating and relationships and get straight to the gratification part. Just because they look humanoid doesn’t mean they get the same consideration and how they are treated has no reflection on real human interaction. We don’t let people get away with treating other people the way they treat a vibrator or fake vagina. Why would this be any different? These are essentially immersive mastarbatory aids that potentially will do at least some of the work for you. It’s basically just a more advanced version of watching porn and using a fleshlight.

A scenario is you're in an automated car ,and somebody runs in front of you,so the car swerves to avoid the person, but you get hit by a truck driving towards you in the opposite lane. When asked this question, most people said they would choose to hit the person who ran in front of them, rather then go head-on into a truck. The driver should have access to an manual override in an automated vehicle.

Exactly. Men will buy them to be a subservient fucktoy. We saw what happened on Ex Machina when Ava and Kyoko were allowed to make decisions

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak: ‘I don’t believe anything Elon Musk or Tesla says’ Ouch. That's pretty damning when a notable tech guy like Wozniak is willing to put it out there that Elon Musk and Tesla are full of shit. Especially given that he actually owns one and has personal experience with it. For me I would say the dream of actual self driving cars is probably still a good 10 years off before we even get into the early stages. We need much more development of both the cars and road infrastructure for these things to ever really be a viable idea.

As an apple owner and long time user I feel justified in saying I don't believe anything anyone associated with apple says.

Best Buy is pulling CDs from stores, and people are freaking out Am I going to have to add "freaking out" to my list of words and phrases that are becoming meaningless? Who exactly is "freaking out" that you will have a harder time buying CDs soon? Who is still buying music on CD? I haven't bought an album on CD in... probably 7-8 years.

Not surprised.... That they're doing it I don't really have a problem with but they REALLY should be more upfront with things like this.
