Decided to give Prey a go so I could get away from open world collect-a-thon games for a bit and play something 1st person. I've played the demo so my time with it for the first hour will likely be a retread but I'll update with my thoughts as I play. Have fun. I still need to finish it off, but it's a pretty huge game so I'd suggest taking your time and exploring. Early on you might feel like you've got barely any ammo or resources, but after you get into recycling/fabricating you'll be swimming in ammo. You can even fabricate upgrade points, so don't stress about upgrades too much. Also, the Gloo cannon is your best friend for exploration - you can use it to climb up walls and make your way to seemingly inaccessible areas.

I finished The Evil Within 2. Really enjoyed it. The ending is satisfying, and it wraps everything up nicely.
I'm considering eventually going for the platinum, but there's a trophy that's a doozy - you have to finish 'Classic' mode, which is the game on Nightmare difficulty (which is what I played on), but you can't unlock skills, can't upgrade weapons, have no autosaves and can only manually save a total of 7 times across the entire game. There are a lot of parts that are really, really tough, and I'd imagine it'd be horrifically tense.
The first Evil Within had Akumu mode, where you'd die in a single hit (from anything), but that at least had autosaves. I'd imagine Classic would be more tense and stressful.

In reference to endorbr s post about the cancelling of the Star Wars game It's all about the easy money. The suits at companies like EA don't care about the games or the gamers.

Platinum #75 complete with The Walking Dead A New Frontier. I swear half the characters in this game were bi-polar. The down side of certain narrative points being fixed regardless of your choices. You can tell they wanted you to connect and feel for certain characters but it was just like they spent the whole game trying to either be unlikable assholes or just asking to get killed.

The brother was just a douche 90% of the time and when he was trying to be nice and make things right he would flip on a damn dime and go back to asshole mode like somebody who is off their meds. The nephew was a teenage boy of probably about 13 and he kept trying to be mister tough guy and kept causing problems that got people hurt or caused unnecessary complications. The girlfriend was a damn emotional roller coaster constantly changing her mind. And a couple of the other characters kept putting number one ahead of everyone else when things got into a pinch.

TWD A New frontier has been getting a mixed response and isn't scoring anywhere near as well as the first TWD game.

Yes, but will it make Revelations 2 a playable and enjoyable game?

Is it any wonder that things have slipped over at BioWare when they have people like THIS writing and designing their games?

What's your game of the year so far? Mine is Persona 5. But Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a game that will challenge it.

OK guys. I'm serious here so listen to me. If you have a PC, go ahead to steam and download Doki Doki Literature Club. This stupid ass seemingly visual novel game just played me. Totally fucking played me. I fell for it hook line and sinker. The game is free, so you really don't have an excuse if you have the means the download it do it. It is completely worth it I assure you.
