What's the one game you think people pretend to like the most?

This is an interesting topic. As for the article, I didn't like Half Life, I didn't pretend to like it, but I didn't dare review it on Gamespot, knowing fanboys would bitch.
I love Metal Gear Solid 2, it's got some of the most emotional story moments from the 6th gen.
I haven't played Far Cry 4 or 5. I must say I enjoyed Far Cry 3, but I needed to be in the mood to play it. However, I found Primal very addictive.
I haven't played the original Deux Ex, but I enjoyed Human Revolution ,although I didn't like it for the first few hour or two.
As for the Souls games, I do like them, but I need to be in the mood to play them. Sometimes I want to play games just to relax for a few hours, but it's hard for me to progress through them with little spare time.
Personally, when I was younger , I convinced myself I liked Halo 2 and 3, because I wanted to fit in, and since critics and everyone who played those games spoke about how great they were, I thought there must have been something wrong with me for not liking them. I did enjoy the original Halo, because it has big environments and allows you to fly around freely with aerial vehicles and it was fun driving the warthog around big open areas and shooting at enemies, or going to the top of a hill and shooting at enemies below. However, Halo 2 and 3 made the environments linear, and the segments the player can use aerial vehicles is only on rails.
As for older games, even though I loved Ocarina of Time when it was released all those years ago, IMO it hasn't aged well and is not fun to play today. But it was amazing and ahead of it's time when it was released. But I am cautious not to admit to Zelda fans that I can't enjoy Ocarina of Time anymore.
