I'd try everything that you posted, but Mhoo yang looks like it'd be my favourite. As you know I like to try weird foods I'll write a list later.

This is basically what I had last night: Chicken chile relleno in green chile sauce and a cheese enchilada with refried beans and Mexican rice.

I'd try everything that you posted, but Mhoo yang looks like it'd be my favourite. As you know I like to try weird foods I'll write a list later. Mhoo yang tastes like a sweeter kind of barbecue pork, because it has much sugar in it's marinade, and Thai people like the cut of pork that has much fat that gives it more sweetness. Then we eat it with a spicy dipping sauce named 'nam chim' to give it a mixture of sweet and spicy, and we like to have it with mint leaves to give a minty aftertaste. We like to also eat it with sticky rice, and papaya salad on the side. This pic is of Gai yang(Northeastern Thai/Lao style barbecue chicken),nam chim, mints, with papaya salad(som tum),sticky rice.

Since Thailand has many people of Chinese ancestry, the Chinese influence in Thai cuisine is strong. This is why Chinese style roast duck is popular in Thailand. Many people say if duck is cooked correctly,it's delicious(has a very delicate flavor),but if it's cooked incorrectly,it loses it's flavor or becomes dry. MK is a famous restaurant chain in Thailand,it does some of the best roast duck you'll ever have, and has good Chinese style roast pork, and even does hot pot. The MK franchise even begun operating in Japan.

My lunch. Northern Thai style barbecue, and Papaya salad(another dish that originated from somewhere near Northern Thailand or Laos). I had some coconut ice cream,it costs 10 bah(equivalent of 30 U.S cents). So I bought 2 of them

Thinking about going to pick up a couple of these this weekend for breakfast at Rudy's BBQ. They're Texas BBQ breakfast tacos. My favorites are Jalapeno sausage with potato, scrambled egg and cheese on a flour tortilla and one they call a Rudy's Chop which is a blend of chopped smoked brisket and turkey in BBQ sauce with scrambled egg and cheese on a flour tortilla. Served up with a side of hot tomato and jalapeno salsa. Getting hungry thinking about it.
