To be honest, I'm all for shit like this. I wanna bring back extinct species, edit babies genes and DNA, the whole 9 yards. It's silly to hold back progress for morals.

If I'm an oil company CEO I am putting ALL the money into this project. To be able to turn captured carbon into jet fuel or plastics?

If I'm an oil company CEO I am putting ALL the money into this project. To be able to turn captured carbon into jet fuel or plastics? That's pretty sweet. Seems like there could be a lot of practical applications.

I can answer this one, easy.
Men are hunters. Women are gatherers. This is our nature and it permeates everything, even our hobbies (men prefers things that move; sports, video games while women prefer shopping; i.e. gathering. Clothes racks are even similar to bushes.) Men disdain blue-tinted food for a simple reason: it makes meat look rotten. Women do not have this aversion because vibrant colors do not always mean poison. Blueberries are a prime example.
That's also why women have better color vision.
